Senior Java Developer

Location: Plano, TX.

Lucernex is seeking experienced Senior Java Developers with at least 5 years experience creating web-based applications in a business setting using Java and AJAX. The ideal candidate will be capable of working independently while reporting to Lucernex’ Chief Architect.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of five years of experience in J2EE and Internet technologies, including Servlets, AJAX, JavaScript
  • Minimum of five years of experience as part of a team developing Web-based business to business applications
  • Experience with Eclipse development environment
  • Experience working with Real Estate and/or Financial ERP systems is a plus
  • Working knowledge of JBoss is a plus
  • Must have the ability to independently solve technical problems
  • Must be able to work independently or in small groups
  • A deep understanding of object oriented architectures is required
  • Knowledge of EXT JS is a big plus
  • Technical knowledge in software development methodologies, design and implementation
  • Excellent understanding of software development life cycle with previous experience in all stages including requirements gathering, design, development, user acceptance, release, and support

Software Support Associate

Location: Plano, TX.

The Software Support professional will become a Subject Matter Expert in our products and utilize provided technology to support end users that have current support agreements for our cloud based (hosted) lifecycle solution and our MS Excel based real estate software applications. All support activities will be documented in provided tools in accordance with the company’s Quality Manual.

Qualifications

    Required:

  • Associate’s degree in technology or related field,
  • At least 3 years experience performing end user support for highly configurable software products
  • Proven aptitude for technology and general understanding of software development processes

    Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in technology or related foeld,
  • 5 years experience performing software end user support in small company setting
  • 2 years experience performing software QA or training
  • A working knowledge of lease analysis for commercial real estate
  • A working knowledge of software products utilized in retail development
