With almost 25 years experience developing and implementing software products for the commercial real estate industry, Ken Brown is considered a pioneer and leading expert in the area of lease administration software and related SLM and IWMS technologies. Having overseen hundreds of implementations for real estate groups in multiple countries, Brown brings the experience and expertise to take the Lucernex products to the next level.  As CIO and EVP of Products at Lucernex Technologies, Brown oversees all product design and vision for the Lucernex application suite. Prior to joining Lucernex, Brown served three years as Director of Corporate Solutions for Accruent, Inc. where he was responsible for managing the development of corporate compliance, lease accounting and business intelligence/analytics applications.

From 1990 to 2005, Brown was founder and CEO of National Facilities Group, a Chicago-based real estate software and consulting firm. There, he created the SLIM (Strategic Lease Information Management) product which became the industry’s leading lease administration software and still in wide use today at many of the Nation’s largest retailers and corporate real estate organizations. Prior to forming NFG, Brown was a consultant and created the first commercially available lease administration solution for XEROX and then went on to implement the system at over 60 Fortune 1000 companies including The Equitable, Citibank and Pitney Bowes.

Brown is an experienced public speaker, having presented at many industry trade shows, as well as a published author in both technical and real estate publications. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Boston University.
