Jan Alton

CFO

As chief financial officer, Ms. Alton is responsible for corporate governance; day-to-day financial and accounting operations; contract preparation and compliance; as well as treasury, tax, human resource and risk management functions within Lucernex. Ms. Alton has served as an officer with a Northwest Bank and as assistant dean at the Northwestern School of Law at Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon, where she taught commercial law and trial practice for over ten years. She has practiced real estate law in the State of Washington and most recently served as a director with a Dallas law firm. While there she designed and implemented a database program for managing process and data throughout the operations of mortgage document preparation.

Ms. Alton has received several distinguished awards for her community and public service, including: chairing a citizen’s advisory committee to the Vancouver (Washington) School District, serving on the financial advisory board to the Lake Washington School District, being a founding member of the International Community School in Kirkland, Washington (ranked as one of the top 100 schools by U.S. News and World Report) and serving on the national advisory board for the Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership Foundation.

Ms. Alton received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado and her Juris Doctor from Northwestern School of Law at Lewis and Clark College. She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and the Cornelius Honor Society (law).
