Jim Duport

Jim Duport was the president and founder of Lease Cost Solutions, Inc., a software firm that developed the premiere financial analysis tool for the corporate real estate industry. After Lucernex purchased Lease Cost Solutions, Inc. in 2009, Duport joined its staff to assist in maintaining and improving Lx LseMod products for Microsoft Excel and to support sales and development of a Web-based version of the Lease Cost Solutions software product, Lx LseMod.

Duport spent over ten years as manager of global real estate at Amdahl Corporation, a $2 billion manufacturer of mainframe computers and other services. In that position, Duport was responsible for strategic planning, international relations, site selection and lease negotiations for over 400 million square feet and 200 plus locations. The processes he designed and implemented enabled fewer staff to manage an increased volume of transactions.

Duport has an MBA and a bachelor’s degree in mathematics. His demonstrated strong commitment to customer service, excellent negotiation skills and problem solving abilities contribute to his reputation for innovation, creativity, and developing effective teams.
