Jim Short

Jim Short is a real estate professional, system implementation specialist and corporate trainer with 25 years of corporate real estate experience. His skills include project management, data conversion mapping, system training, and accounting. Jim’s talents have been applied to information management solutions in the retail, corporate, industrial, software and financial services industries. His background in Corporate Real Estate Accounting and Real Estate Software solutions is a valuable asset in the design and implementation of systems.

Jim began his career as real estate accountant in 1987 where he worked for 5 years for Miglin-Beitler and Walsh Higgins, two fee based property management companies in Chicago, IL. He then moved to the software side of the industry where he worked for The SOFTA Group and worked with the popular landlord property management and accounting system Skyline.

In 1995, Jim joined National Facilities Group (NFG) where he was instrumental in the implementation of SLIM (Strategic Lease Information Management) for more than 100 retail companies in the US and Canada. When Accruent acquired NFG in 2004, Jim made the transition to Accruent where he continued to successfully manage the SLIM implementations.

In his role as Director of Client Services at Lucernex, Jim will continue to use his experience to ensure that implementation projects are on time, on budget and very successful.
