Bryan Brown Joins Real Estate Intelligence Software Developer

Dallas – (October 12, 2009) – Lucernex Technologies, an innovative developer of business intelligence software for real estate management and development, announced today that it has hired Bryan Brown as vice president, client development. In this role, Brown will lead the sales initiatives for Lucernex’s Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS).

Brown has more than 18 years of retail development experience. From 2005 to 2009, he held the role of regional vice president of retail real estate for JPMorgan Chase Bank where he managed the retail development program for new branch growth and existing assets in Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana. Brown’s career began in 1991 with BSW International in Tulsa, Ok., an architectural firm focused on large-scale development programs for Wal-Mart and other retail clients. In the years that followed, Bryan held executive positions for several retail restaurant developers, including Tricon Global Restaurants, Inc., Schlotzsky’s, Inc., Carlson Restaurants Worldwide and Brinker International.

“Bryan’s high level of experience in the retail and restaurant development industries in both the United States and Europe gives him great insight into what the customers who use our products really need and want,” said Mike Nuzum, chairman of Lucernex Technologies. “He is an ideal addition to our executive management team as we work towards expanding our company’s reach across the United States and abroad.”

First developed in 2000 and currently in use by numerous Fortune 500 companies, the Lucernex IWMS platform addresses the unique needs of companies with multi-site, rapidly changing real estate portfolios. The solution can be used to manage corporate real estate of any type and also offers market-specific functionality for the retail, restaurant and hospitality sectors. Available in both Enterprise and Standard versions, Lucernex IWMS 7.0 makes it possible for all real estate management resources to openly communicate and keep all projects on time and within budget. Enabling this kind of integrated communication will ultimately reduce costs, improve productivity, enhance operational efficiency and increase profitability.

“I have worked in management positions with several large corporations and my biggest challenge was always working with numerous systems, sometimes as many as 20, to get one piece of information in order to make a quick decision,” Bryan Brown. “With Lucernex, everything is in one place, which saves time and greatly simplifies the work process. That is why I am so enthused to be part of this tremendous opportunity.”

Brown holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture from Oklahoma State University and currently resides in Plano, Texas.
